The City of Port Wentworth is calling all artists and people with passion to participate in its Grand Mural Contest for a $1,000 prize. This is an opportunity to help define the future cultural legacy of Port Wentworth, capturing the urban vibe and exciting opportunities for the city’s new era.

"Are you ready to make your mark on the City of Port Wentworth’s vibrant canvas? Join us for this artistic extravaganza that’s set to transform our streets into an open-air gallery of imagination and wonder," said City of Port Wentworth Director of Economic Development, James R. Touchton. "This contest will allow art, community, and urban spirit to collide!"

Artists are encouraged to show their creativity and passion for Port Wentworth through contributing to its visual tapestry by turning the blank wall at Whistle Express Car Wash into a centerpiece of the city. Being viewed by over 25,000 vehicles daily along State Route 21 and State Route 30, the winning mural will become an integral part of the city’s identity – inspiring locals and captivating visitors.
